ASSISTANT SPONSORSHIP COORDINATOR

OVERVIEW

SF City Impact is a non-profit organization that exists to intervene on behalf of the people in the inner city of San Francisco. We ensure every decision keeps our pace, benefits our people, and helps tract towards our strategic plan. 


ROLE SUMMARY

The Assistant Sponsorship Coordinator is primarily responsible for coordinating with sponsorship, database upkeep, graphic design, and general administration duties associated with supporting the Development Team.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

SPONSORSHIP

  • Input new sponsor information into database and update payment information

  • Call lapsed donors to update payment information

  • Host sponsors during lunch visits, tours, and volunteering

  • Attend Development trips and represent City Impact with partners

  • Assemble sponsorship materials for outreaches

  • Help stuff appeals and other sponsorship send out materials

DATABASE & ADMIN

  • General tasks to ensure database is clean and operable
  • Input Squarespace inquiries from website into database

  • Answer phone and direct calls to correct department as well as answer any sponsorship inquiries

  • Intake and manage corporation matching donations

DESIGN

  • Update sponsorship packets yearly
  • Design digital and print materials for sponsorship (appeals, postcards, special events)
  • Design assets to help City Impact’s brand narrative and communications department

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Love for Jesus and His Church

    • Agreement with the statement of faith, theology, and core values of SF City Impact

    • Character and lifestyle of a deacon as described in Scripture

    • Demonstrates integrity, truthfulness, discretion, and conducts self in a professional manner making proper use of organizational resources

    • Demonstrates the ability to discuss confidential matters online in an appropriate manner or setting and to the appropriate person

    • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
      Strong attention to detail and communication skills

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred

    SCHEDULE

    Monday-Friday with flexibility to assist with development and church events when needed

    HOURS

    40 hours per week

    Non-exempt

    REPORTS TO

    Sponsorship Coordinator, Assistant Development Director, and Communications Coordinator. 

    WORKS WITH

    Staff, volunteers, SFCA students, donors, sponsors and special guests.
