City Impact Conference 2016 Recap

City Impact Conference 2016: Worship and Justice was held on Saturday July 23rd at the Warfield Theater. Attendees broke out into over 45 different outreaches to serve people in the inner city of San Francisco. 

The day was filled with worship led by The Katinas, and encouragements from best selling author and Pastor John Ortberg, Chaplain Earl Smith, author and Pastor of the Warriors and 49ers. Christian Huang, Executive Director of San Francisco City Impact, held the gatherings with the outreaches in between the morning and evening sessions. 

Here are some stats for the day: 

  • 8,000 meals served including delivery to those most isolated
  • 600 attendees at our UN Plaza outreach including gift bag giveaways 
  • 580 meaningful conversations at our Sit Down Cafe
  • 450 people medically assessed
  • 200+ kids attended our Kids Carnival and Sports Bash
  • 120 people had their feet washed with clean socks
  • 40+ people had a makeover including a haircut, nail care and more!
