DONATIONS DRIVER

OVERVIEW

SF City Impact is a non-profit organization that exists to intervene on behalf of the people in the inner city of San Francisco. We ensure that every decision keeps our pace, benefits our people, and helps tract towards our strategic plan. 


ROLE SUMMARY

To help drive to locations throughout the City and surrounding areas to pick up donations and resources during the holiday season.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive van or other SFCI vehicles to do daily donation pick-ups

  • Follow assigned schedule and make sure we are on time

  • Drop off for barrel drives

  • Set a good and professional example driving and interacting with stores, schools and other businesses

  • Represent SFCI well

  • Maintain SFCI vehicles (clean and check oil and other simple maintenance)

  • On call pick-ups or deliveries

  • Drive passengers (kids) and handle all trash runs.

  • Buy supplies for teams & kitchen areas

  • Help with all outreaches and special events

  • Complete company logs and reports

  • Work most holidays

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Agreement with Statement of Faith, theology, and core values of SF City Impact

  • Able to drive large vehicles

  • Must have good organization and communications skills

  • Be punctual for work and avoid making appointments during scheduled work time

  • Able to work under pressure

  • Hard worker and team player

  • Proven working experience as  driver

  • Valid professional driver’s license

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Good driving record with no traffic violations

  • High school degree

  • Able to carry up to 20lbs

  • Valid Class A CDL

Monday-Friday

HOURS

40 hours per week, October-December, Non-exempt
