OVERVIEW

SF City Impact is a non-profit organization that exists to intervene on behalf of the people in the inner city of San Francisco. We ensure every decision keeps our pace, benefits our people, and helps tract towards our strategic plan. 


ROLE SUMMARY

Tell the story of SF City Impact through visual graphics for marketing pieces that will lead people to engage in the mission of SFCI.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand brand the brand identity of City Impact and the brand strategy to communicate story

    • Help maintain and enforce a cohesive brand design on all communications avenues

    • Understand the vision and values of City Impact

  • Manage design projects including: postcards, flyers, pamphlets, one page documents, booklets, annual reports and all inbound marketing pieces

  • Manage online brand design and look from websites to social media brand

  • Help engage marketing & communications volunteers

    • Help check in and empower volunteers

    • Involve them in events and stories

  • Understand audience-centric design, and how to design for multiple audiences

  • Assist team members to coordinate content for social media to engage and foster online community through strategic plans

  • Help design appeals for monthly mail outs

    • Use the collected photos and stories to design each piece

  • Assist the development team and ministry with administrative tasks when needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Agreement with the statement of faith, theology, and core values of SF City Impact

  • Demonstrates integrity, truthfulness, discretion, and conducts self in a professional manner making proper use of organizational resources

  • Demonstrates the ability to discuss confidential matters online in an appropriate manner or setting and to the appropriate person

  • Proficiency in Graphic Design programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign

  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud, After Effects, and SquareSpace

  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Ability to work in an open space environment

  • 4+ years of experience in graphic design

SCHEDULE

Monday-Friday with flexibility to assist with development and church events when needed

HOURS

40 hours per week

Non-exempt

REPORTS TO

Executive Officers, Marketing Director, and Assistant Development Director
