MID-LEVEL DONOR COORDINATOR

OVERVIEW

SF City Impact is a non-profit organization that exists to intervene on behalf of the people in the inner city of San Francisco. We ensure every decision keeps our pace, benefits our people, and helps tract towards our strategic plan. 


ROLE SUMMARY

This position is responsible for moves management of all new and existing relationships with mid-level donors along with assisting with other development related activities as follows.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Donor Coordinator

  • Manage & cultivate portfolio of mid-level donors

  • Work with manager to strategize potential opportunities to engage donors with City Impact

  • Work with development team to cultivate, prioritize, and manage strategic partner relationships

  • Can include; individuals, churches, corporations, mission teams, group serving

  • Assist with serve days to build relationships for ongoing cultivation

  • Assist with development team related functions

  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager

  • Help with data input when necessary

Grants

  • Research organization philanthropy and strategize best potential opportunities to apply for grants

  • Write grants when needed by development director for church missions funding, corporations, and foundations

  • Record necessary pre and post grant metrics needed to qualify for funding

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Alignment of statement of faith and core values of SF City Impact

  • Conduct high level of professionalism and strong working relationship

  • Positive and upbeat persona when meeting new clients, vendors, donors, staff etc

  • Experience with database entry, reporting, and maintenance.

  • Proficiency with computers, and computer software including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and ASP/web-based software solutions (Salesforce, ClientTrack)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including proactive abilities to address conflict with staff, as well as donors, and be able to intercede and find reasonable solutions in order to maintain harmonious relations

  • Self-motivated and flexible with good organizational and administrative skills

  • Ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality of information as appropriate
