OVERVIEW

SF City Impact is a non-profit organization that exists to intervene on behalf of the people in the inner city of San Francisco. We ensure every decision keeps our pace, benefits our people, and helps tract towards our strategic plan. 


ROLE SUMMARY

Support the Sponsorship Manager in administrative tasks and maintain a clean database to best cultivate and grow the child sponsorship program.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Database

  • Complete the onboarding process of a new recurring donor by inputting donor information into QGiv and Salesforce and notifying Sponsorship Manager

  • Managing donors who have lapsed, refunded, transferred, or who are giving through a different method/frequency

  • Sponsorship database monthly maintenance to ensure it is clean and dependable

Admin

  • Answer sponsorship phone line and email

  • Schedule any lunch visit inquiries that come in. Assist day of when needed.

  • Support Sponsorship Manager by learning how to use Campaign Monitor to send out monthly email communication

  • Continually update spreadsheets with most up to date information about the school program

  • Report metrics to Sponsorship Manager monthly, maintain healthy numbers

  • Performs administrative duties as needed including filing, copying, dropping off mail, sorting, mailing, etc.

  • Consistently update inventory of materials and pack supplies for each development trip or outreach

Development

  • Assist in annual gala and various fundraising events

  • Assist on development trips, outreaches, and events

  • Report any leads to Sponsorship Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Agreement with the statement of faith and core values SF City Impact

  • 1 to 2 years of administration experience

  • Bachelor’s degree             

  • Must pass a fingerprint and background check

  • Must be comfortable and relational when speaking to and meeting new people (donors, clients, children, staff, etc.) Good people skills and positive attitude

  • Highly organized and systematic. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, especially in data management, writing, and working with spreadsheets                                                                                     

  • Must have a background in public speaking

  • Must have an intimate, personal relationship with Jesus Christ

  • Must be committed to serving God and the body of Christ

SCHEDULE

Monday-Friday with flexibility to assist with development and church events when needed

HOURS

40 hours per week

Non-exempt

REPORTS TO

Sponsorship Coordinator, Assistant Development Director

WORKS WITH

Staff, volunteers, SFCA students, donors, sponsors and special guests.
