OVERVIEW

SF City Impact is a church community that exists to intervene on behalf of the people in the inner city of San Francisco. We ensure every decision keeps our pace, benefits our people, and helps tract towards our strategic plan. 


ROLE SUMMARY

Tell the story of SFCI through video that leads people to engage in the mission of SFCI.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate photography and videography communications projects and empower the Development team to succeeD

    • Prioritize tasks and requests as they come in

  •  Help coordinate communications volunteers

    • Help check in and empower volunteers

    • Involve them in events and stories

  • Capture photos and video to help thank and follow up with volunteers and donors

  • Coordinate video/photo content for social media to engage and foster online community through strategic plans

  • Coordinate, shoot and edit monthly Child Sponsorship videos for emails

  • Help with monthly blogs and track & record key events at SFCI
    Collect archive of stories to tell to develop photo/video content

  • Assist with minor graphic design & motion graphics through Adobe After Effects & Illustrator

  • Assist the development team and ministry with administrative tasks when needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Love for Jesus and His Church

  • Agreement with the statement of faith, theology, and core values of SF City Impact

  • Character and lifestyle of a deacon as described in Scripture

  • Demonstrates integrity, truthfulness, discretion, and conducts self in a professional manner making proper use of organizational resources

  • Demonstrates the ability to discuss confidential matters online in an appropriate manner or setting and to the appropriate person

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premier Pro, or Final Cut Pro

  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud including After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop & Lightroom

  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Ability to work in an open space environment

  • 2+ years of videography and editing experience

SCHEDULE

Monday-Friday with flexibility to assist with development and church events when needed

HOURS

40 hours per week

Non-exempt
