This year, SF City Impact is incredibly excited to partner with Menlo Church for a day of high-impact volunteerism in the inner-city of San Francisco.
Please note that this is Shift Two (12:30pm-4:00pm) and not Shift One (8:30am-12:00pm).
For Shift Two, you can join us in the following areas.
Kitchen - Help to cook the food that will be delivered into the buildings. This is a vital role to feed many inner city residents who are isolated, alone and hungry. Volunteers will check in at the registration table and report early to their station.
Library - Help organize and rearrange the resources in the school library to help support the K-8 school and inner city students.
Building Parties - Help City Impact to throw a party in an inner city apartment building to create lasting relationships with residents, meet tangible needs, and raise awareness of City Impact’s services.
Meal Prep - Help to package the food that will be delivered into the buildings.
Meal Delivery - Deliver the packaged food into buildings, while engaging in conversations with residents, raising awareness of City Impact’s services, and offering prayer. *This may require a lot of walking.
Registration - Help register kids and families at the sports bash to connect them to more resources and people.
Kids Carnival & Sports Bash - Assist our school staff and youth leaders in reaching out to the inner city children that we know be name and inviting them back to the kids carnival.
**Free T-Shirt upon arrival** Limited style and sizes while supples last.
