honoring Josie Dowd

Welcome to San Francisco City Impact.

Our Dear Friend Tom and his Wife Josie Dowd have been friends of SFCI for decades.

It is with sadness On June 2, 2019, Josie Dowd left us after suffering a brain aneurysm while on a trip with her husband Tom in Nashville, TN. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her kids and siblings at the age of 69.

Josie was a rock for her family and gave all her love and energy to those around her.  She had an infectious personality and could light up a room with her presence.

Tom and Josie Dowd purposed their life to help others and through their philanthropic efforts they have left an legacy of impact, especially in San Francisco.

Tom and Josie have been long-time friends and partners of SF City Impact. Because of their generous support and fundraising efforts, today there are 120 inner city children enrolled, receiving a Christian education in a safe environment.

Through the Dowd's friendships and ability to mobilize their influence, they have chosen SF City Impact to be a recipient of donations in honor of Josie’s Memory.

One person can make a difference. We thank Josie for being a great support of SF City Impact.

Your gift today will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $100,000 by an anonymous donor.

Thank you for making an eternal impact in the lives of the Tenderloin Community in San Francisco, CA.
